Goodbye, Farewell :)

Today was such a good day!!!! I love being reunited with some of my Slider girls.  It was a special reuniting though. We got to celebrate Sister Jessyca Fulmer's mission farewell:)

I feel that if I had to choose a favorite talk from sacrament for the whole year, Jessyca's would be the one I pick.  She is such a great example! I wish I would have recorded her talk or taken notes or something, because I feel like if ever I am going through a trial in my life, or just flat out having a bad day, that reading the words she spoke would just make me feel better! Lansing, Michigan is seriously lucky to have her for the next 18 months. 

It was good to be able to spend this morning with Kell, T, and Mo going to Jess's talk:) I forget how funny they are, ok I never forgot, but I sure do miss those summers when we were always practicing or on the road playing softball. It's friends like these girls that I am thankful to have! 

And as for you Sister Fulmer, I wish you the best of luck and you are going to be one amazing missionary and I know that you will touch the people of Lansing!

FINALS WEEK

I was expecting worse!

It wasn't amazing

But, it wasn't horrible either.

I was finished with finals tuesday night!!

Well it was all fun for me after tuesday, all I had to worry about was going to work. So paige and I did some rearranging, with the help of Cassie and Lauren.

We may have built a fire hazard for about 20 minutes, but I guess it is not that far of a jump from our bedroom window. 

We made a GIANT BED... and we had an attempt at a sleep over.. but that resulted in both Lauren and I downstairs.

So lauren went down stairs to plug her phone in and like 30 minutes later I decided to go to the couch because I couldn't fall asleep. Well I went down the stairs and shined my phone so I didn't step on something and all the sudden this human sits up really fast. 

that human was lauren and she fell asleep on the floor after she plugged in her phone, she said she was going to come back up stairs. Finals week must have been rough on her:) 

Lauren was also my alarm. She can wake up when ever she tells herself she needs to.. so I conducted an experiment:)

I told her to wake me up at 7:20 am for work and that I would set an alarm for 5 minutes later just in case she didn't wake up.  7:23am rolls around that next morning and I felt two taps on the shoulder and heard lauren say WAKEY WAKEY!! hahahaha it honestly made my day so good. Just thinking about going downstairs to her asleep on the floor and hearing WAKEY WAKEY in the morning. She is too cool:)

I went to work and was planning on another fun night, but my battery was dead, and I didn't want to wake up for work and not be able to get there so I just went home.

Going home wasn't all that bad though, I went to the boys basketball game so I got to see all my high schoolers :)

That stuff I was going to talk about..

Yes, I totally spaced writing about military ball and that week with my roommates that I was going to write about.. so I don't remember what exactly I had to say that was so exciting..

Well Military Ball was awesome! It was so fun to go with all of my roommates and thanks to my neighbors who planned the whole night, it was honestly thee best dance, even though me or my date had no idea how to dance to a live band... but we made the most of it.  I think that is what made the dance so fun was the live band! Even after the band left, there was good dancing music, none of the mosh pit, fist pumping music.  That dance made me want to learn how to swing dance even more! I will know how to country swing one day:) After the dance we went to our apartments and changed our clothes then met up back at our apartment where we played Chris's favorite game! You were in teams of 2, and I was on a team with chris. I thought we would definitely win since it was his favorite game Quirkle, but we lost to Garen and Cody. We didn't finish the game for awhile then we piled in the cars and went to Village Inn.  It really was a good night.

My neighbors are honestly thee best! we can scream CHRIS and he will come over to see what we need, they watch movies with us, and put up with our immatureness (they're seniors) :) And we have water fights in the middle of november:)
