Well Since The Semester Is Almost Over...

Well I guess maybe I should talk about what has been going on.. although it hasn't been too exciting.
Freshman Year Fall Semester at Utah State University!
It is only like 3 weeks away from being over. I might just survive, just maybe.  I'll be honest the first month of school wasn't as fun as I had anticipated.  Being sick/post fair allergies didn't help the cause.  I am taking 13 credits this semester. My first Class of the day is Creative Arts.. it is horrrrrrible. Mainly because I am not the #1 fan of art history, and having a class as big as 2000 students in a dark concert hall makes it hard to pay attention.  My next class is Political Science.  I actually enjoy this class, if I didn't have an AWESOME SI instructor, I would probably be totally lost, but I was lucky.  This class has been very interesting and has helped me become more involved and informed in the election.  When I got my results from my first essay exam I thought is was going to be a long semester, but I have finally got the hang of things and I should end up with a decent grade, and I will be happy with it :) Then here come the class that has been totally over my head basically this whole semester.  Social Ethics. Man, I guess I know 2 things I will definitely not major in, Philosophy and Art History.  Social Ethics has been interesting, but most of the time I have no idea what is being talked about because all these smart kids use 200th grade vocabulary.  I actually just finished my midterm last week and thank goodness it was a take home midterm and we could work on it in groups and ask her question, if that would not have been the case I would have been in trouble.  All of those classes are general education classes, which I only have 3 more to take and I will be all done with generals.  The fourth class I am taking is Spanish.  I am planning on minoring in Spanish! My professor, Profesora Lund, is sooo sweet. She is a grad student and she works well with all of the students in her class. I have learned a lot, but I have also realized that I learned a lot in Señor Jensen's class.  All of my classes this semester have been on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. This worked out great because I get to work full days at Central Milling on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Work
So like I said I have been working 2 days a week at Central Milling.  I don't really have to much to say about what has been happening at work, because it is basically the same everyday, which I am ok with.  BUT..  I do have to tell about one customer that came in.  I honestly want to secretly hide a video that captures the funny moments whether it is me being totally blond, to see how many times Steve and I forget to click PRINT on our computer before walking to an empty printer, the interesting truck drivers, and walk in customers.  I do have one story to tell, I should email it to Bill Engvall so he could use it as a Here's Your Sign joke.

So this lady walks into the office to buy some flour, she looks at our price list and she looks up at me and asked, "So do you guys use this Red Rose Pancake and Waffle Flour to make pancakes and  waffles?"
This is where I almost lost myself in laughter. It was all I could do to hold back from bursting out.. I looked at her and simply answered, "Umm yeah?" I wish I Could think on the spot and I would have replied...
"No we use it to make Torillas!!!!"
HERE'S YOUR SIGN

The Rest of the Fun
So I guess I have done some fun things, but I wish I had more time to be involved on campus.  I will admit, I did go through this stage when I didn't really want to be social and all I did was homework and watch Army Wives on Netflix.. but since I am all caught up, except season 6 part 1 which isn't on Netflix, I have become more social.  I have been to most of the football games (holla for the Aggie being the WAC champions) and I have already started going to the basketball games, which have been awesome.  So I guess November has been the month that I have honestly started having the REAL fun.. and I guess you could say the end of October also.
So end of October, Haley and I got all dressed up in baseball pants and a uniform and headed to the HOWL aka the biggest halloween party in the west). It was pretty fun and slightly sketchy.  I am glad they had more stuff going on other than the dance, or I would have melted in the heat.  It was especially warm in the front. Yes I made it to the front of the mosh pit and it was great.  Then I also found out something else on our way back to Tremonton.  The Subway on main street is open 24 hours!!!

So then November happened, and it is still happening. I have been blessed with a lot of fun this month, and I became more SOCIAL!!!!
So at the first of the month we went to a Stuff a Bus Blitz night. which consisted of students loading up on Aggie Shuttles and being drops off in logan neighborhood to collect food for the Cache Valley food pantry.  My bus got dropped off in all the nice houses on the side of the hill by the island, people are so generous! And we got invited into a house at least 1 time because the guy thought we were there for family home evening.
Went to the first Aggie Basketball Game, sat in the rowdy crowd and got free Chik-Fil-A whole we stood in the freezing line for 2 hours.

And the role of Wild Bill was passes down.

Ok so another exciting this is I got to see Jessyca Fullmer for the first time since Kelli's graduation in 2011.. YES IT WAS SOOO LONG, it really was. Us three went to the game along with Natalie, Lauren and Selah. It was a good game, and Kelli and I have officially decided that our favorite part of the whole game is the winning team, losing team cheer!! Afterwards we went and got some money and then went to Aggie Ice Cream which was amazing.  We ended up driving back to old farm because there was no where to sit, but we just had a good talk in Jessyca's car. That led to us realizing we wanted real food, so at 10:30 we rushed to Winger's and they probably hate us for coming in 30 minutes before they closed, but I think our waiter had fun, he was a funny guy.  We shoved our faces and then had a sleep over at Kelli's apartment.  The next morning we went to her ward and listened to her give a lovely talk on gratitude, and heard this other interesting talk about making hand turkeys.. WEIRD! It was soo good to see Jessyca, especially because she is leaving in January to serve an LDS Mission.  That night I was reminded of how amazing she was, I love her!
MILITARY BALL!!!!
It was so great that I owe it and the last week with my roommates and amazing neighbors their own post.
So the last great thing we did before this weekend was go to an A-Week planning meeting.  It was great and even though it is not going to be happening until April, I am super excited to be involved.  I am glad I am a member of SAA (student alumni association)! That night ended very exciting, and super happy to be an AGGIE!!!

Random Times
So these are some other things that have went on prior to my exciting month of November.. Meet my roommates, who you will hear about later:)
Went to the Chalk Dance on Monday night of Homecoming Week!!
This is Lauren and I love her:) I'm not quite sure what is happening right now.
 Celebrating before the homecoming game
One night we kept migrating into our hallway upstairs, not quire sure why, but we are weird.
We went to the Mr. USU pageant, which was also during homecoming week.  It was awesome and Doug Fiefia won the title.  He is in SAA and he is a great guy.
We tried to change our lightbulb.. but after 4 of us trying we couldn't get the outside case thing to stay on.
Paige made her mouth a speaker... Trust me it worked try it.
after about 2 months of having a blank wall I finally added some pictures and stuff.
And I face timed my soul sister Sarah, and chatted with Lindsay, Mark and helped Denise try to pick out a crazy hat for red ribbon week.
And my car was covered with snow for the first time this year.

I have to say I have some great friends, at USU and also not at USU. Thank goodness for Texting, Phone Calls, FaceTime and Conference Calls:)
Well that is it for Tonight BYEEE

I SUCK

I have this struggle with blogging for a consistent amount of time.. i had this brilliant idea, that might not be so brilliant in the end, that I will start trying to catch my blog up during my Creative Arts Class :)  It is not like my professor will notice is it only a class of like 1,500 students!! Well where do I start?
Obviously I graduated from Bear River, and now that I am gone I will be honest, I miss it dearly.  Singing those weird scout songs in Student Council, going to lunch everyday with my best friends, being a teachers aid for Coach Park, browsing the Internet (googling peoples names to see what would come up) in Schenk's Class because he didn't even know what was going on. And now that is is November and basketball is starting, I miss being with my sisters every day for class and spending all day after school with them whether it was at practice or at our games. Then there is softball, I miss it.  I mean who wouldn't want to be playing when you have had a successful run earning 4 state championships! Since I have not been involved with any athletics since school started I have came to a possible conclusion.  I RELIEVED STRESS when I was playing sports, whether is was boxing out and rebounding in basketball, or getting the perfect hit that sails over the left-center fence.

Well the week after graduation I spent a week in Northern California with Emily and Marisa. It was a LONG drive!! It was a good get away though, and I saw some beautiful things!

 Went to the Sacramento Temple

Spent some time in Down Town Sacramento and Old Sacramento (mainly looking in all these little shops, it reminds me of West Yellowstone)

I found out that Sacramento was the Capitol.. I honestly never knew that
We Found Mormon Island....
 And Mormon Street :)
We may have slept under like 3 nights, went to bed freezing and woke up in the dead heat!
We spent a day at Lake Tahoe, and Marisa fed the birds fruit snacks even though the sign said not to feed them:)

We went to George Town Falls (natural water slides)  with Hayley and Claire.. I should post a video

We went boating at Folsom Lake thanks to the Hunsaker's

And Bueller Came
And their grocery store had a Jamba inside!!
We went to San Francisco for the day and parked at the ball park and rode the city transportation.. which involved Emily getting on the train and the doors closing before any one else got on.. it is a good thing Em's friends Sara and Raymond were with us.

The game was good, They won, it was super hot and i got a nice tan line:) who else can say they went to a game of the team that won the world series this year!

Then we made our way to the Golden Gate Bridge. All i can remember at this point was i was super dehydrated and needed water, but there was no water other than the bay!

We ended our last full day with going to the Oakland Temple. It was such a relief, the visors center had water:) ok not only that reason. We had been in a busy city all day and when we were driving in Oakland it was even kinda depressing, when we turned the corner just inside the gate, this was the view! It was amazing, and the sister missionaries in the visitors center were very sweet! The temple was beautiful! everything was so GREEN! another cool thing was at this temple, we got to walk on top of it, and the view of the bay was gorgeous, made me think of how blessed I was!
The Sunset from on top of the temple, it was GREAT!
That basically wraps up the trip. Although there were many funny moments that i will never forget.  I met some really nice people and saw some enormous houses holy shoes!! The drive home was long! we didn't get home until about 3 AM and I drove about the last 6 hours.. it was eventful. I only took the cruise control off once, shows how busy there roads were, to stop and get fuel in Elko.. and then the car wouldn't start when we went to leave.. Marisa and I were able to stay awake by singing the WHOLE TIME!!! we were so good:) I got into bed about 3:30 and had to wake up at 5 to pack for girls camp, and i was out of there by about 6. It was a short night, literally:)

Girls camp was interesting... But great at the same time. I am glad my soul sister was there! And my park valley friends and my leaders.

After 3 weeks of non stop being busy I came home and started my first job at Central Milling.

My summer slowed down quite a bit..  Until the July!!

Then things started happening again
July 4th there was a little boy who came to my family! I BECAME AN AUNT to say the least! Wytten Jay Williams, he is such a fun little boy to have around, (one of the main reasons i come home so much)

He has grown up SO much and he now has personality which is pretty fun:)

What could have been a better birthday present?? We basically get to share birthdays! I turned 18 nothing too exciting.

Then I had an amazing weekend!

I wanted to get all of the BLGR's together before we all went to college, but time said it had to be like that weekend. A-Train was deploying and Paige was leaving for Ecuador that next week.  I was thinking it would be a great way to spend my birthday.. and i wasn't wrong.  Not every one was able to come.. actually only Paige and A-Train.  I also got my new car! I was driving to salt lake because we were going to dinner together and my family and I drove to Megan's and we got my new car, they took it home and i ventured to salt lake. (It was my first SLC driving experience) Well i thought i was doing such a great job driving until i realized i had my blinker on in the non-turning lane. but it worked out.  i got to the address Paige gave me and had no problem. but then there was a problem. the address was The Pie Take-Out and we were trying to get to The Pie.  So i called Paige and we met at the stadium. we thought we would ride the train, but it is a good thing we didn't because we wouldn't have gotten where we wanted to get. who i am kidding we still didn't get where we wanted to by driving.  Needless to say we were lost for an hour and a half and in the process we laughed hysterically, paid $5 to be parked for about 3 minutes, and ended up at the Pie Hole only to realized we were not at the right place.  We finally got to the Pie and i felt bad because A-Train had been waiting for awhile....
Dinner was very good and so was the company, They are some of my favorite people!!

Then Paige and i left and drove around lost again trying to find something, i don't even remember what it was. WE went and got pages car and then headed to her house.  The next day we waited to see if she had to work, but she didn't have to  so we went out on an adventure in the Draper Area!
(In a convertible)

We first went to IKEA, then to a model home, then to day break and all that jazz. She then took me up to the Draper Temple, I had never been up by it before and it was as beautiful up close as it was from the highway. (Don't Mind our attractive hair.. thanks to the wind)

We saw some HUGE houses I guess this one was in the home show and it is Ushers Agent's House
We went to another place that she liked to go also:)

We then went back to her house and made a creation with pages sticker collection  ;)
And watched Neature Walk. Best. Video. Ever.

That was the end of my Salt Lake adventure i guess you could say and I left for home. When i got home the Smart and Bingham family was at my house for a UFC fight party.
I Think THAT week was the highlight of my summer.
1. I got a nephew
2. I am now an adult
3. The Whole Weekend!
(just those 2 days in Salt Lake took up 26 pages in my journal)

The next adventure was Island Park with the Fam. It was great! we floated to river A LOT. we went to breakfast at Meadow Creek Bill's, went fishing, and spent like 10 hours in Yellowstone Park! (we were so close to Powell and all my family there)

The thing i had to do when i got to Buffalo camp ground was finding an Aspen tree so i could send this to Paige :)

So Here are some Park Pictures
This was the sunrise.. We really left that early

 SUPRISE.. we saw buffalo
and we told these people that we saw mountain goats.. SIKEE
Kooper and I were car riding buddies and we were board.
 And we were yodeled.

We spent some time with the smiths and Bailey and Payton became good friends and those two and Sea Bass begged me to float the river with the 1 more time.
Here are a couple more from the trip.
including the Love Birds:) Tawn and J Dawg

It was such a good time away from everything.. the only down side was coming home to this..
a flooded room.

Things slowed down a little until the end of the month and that was because of the FA reunion i think our year was basically the whole reunion. (James and Zak got in trouble because they were speeding and didn't stop at the gate to check in, big no on military ground :))
Then the BLGRs minus Paige, A-Train, and Daniel plus the Honoraries snuck off to our meeting spot.
 We Perched..
 Hugged..
 And were Awkward

We Just LOVE Each other.
Afterwards, Weston, his friends, Erik and I went to Café Rio and on my way home I made a stop at a Salt Lake 7-Eleven to buy people water because i love Jef Holm.

I can not think of any other events that were very exciting until the fair. It was my last year showing in the junior livestock show, which is sad. I hung up the FFA jacket :( I Love the fair and I never want to miss it.  I honestly spend all of my time on the fair grounds when the fair is going on. It was extra fun this year because I did not have to do any cleaning shifts, or leave for a volleyballll game.. I even made it to every single rodeo.
 Wytten rocking the Sheriff Glasses
Opening night of Bull, Broncs, and Barrels
This was my first pick lamb, who didn't get worked with very much so therefore didn't place very good.. But I did make some GOOD money on him.

I am the 4x Reigning Fitting Champion
The Box Elder Country Junior Livestock Auction is incredible. If you haven't been, you need to go and see the support that our community gives!
Here it is, the last picture of me as an FFA member. I honestly regret not being more involved in FFA. But now onto the next chapter of my life.. Box Elder County Fair
I WILL BE BACK

Well I guess is the end of my summer report.
BYEEE
